PowerPoint First Tutorial about Cut,Copy,Paste and Format Painter

Clipboard :- Clipboard section contains four features such as Copy, Cut, Paste and Format painter in PowerPoint. Whenever we execute any of these features except paste  our content always store in Clipboard as temporary storage.Clipboard section given at the left side of upper window screen in the Home tab. Or You can also see in the given pic :- 

Cut :- With the help of Cut we can cut the content from our document.

1. First select the content that you actually want to Cut.
2. After this you will see Cut option in Clipboard section. You can directly click on the Cut option or you can also use shortcut key to perform Cut feature. Shortcut key :- Ctrl+x

Copy :- With the help of Copy we can copy the content from our document.

1. First select the content that you actually want to Copy.
2. After this you will see Copy option in Clipboard section. You can directly click on the Copy option or you can also use shortcut key to perform Copy feature. Shortcut key :- Ctrl+c

Paste :- With the help of Paste we can paste our content anywhere in the document after doing the task of cut or copy.

1. To perform Paste feature just you need to move the cursor at that place where you want to paste the content.
2. After moving the cursor, You need to go on clipboard section and there you will see an paste option just click on the paste option or you can also use shortcut key. Shortcut key : ctrl+v

                                                             

Format painter :- With the help of Format painter we can copy the format of content and we can use this format directly on other content.

1. First select the content whose format you want to use.
2. After this you will see format painter option in Clipboard section. You can directly click on the format painter.
3. After clicking the format painter you have successfully copied the format of selected content.
4. To apply this format on other content just go and drag on those content where you want to use format Same as when we select any content through mouse.
5.  There are two method of Format painter.

1.       Single click method :- when you click only one time on format painter after selecting the content then you can only use your copied format one time on any content.

2.       Double Click method :- When you click two time on format painter continuously after selecting   the content then you can use your copied format on any content continuously until you close the Format painter option by clicking on the format painter.
